SUBMISSIONS FOR FILMS AND SHORT SCREENPLAYS ARE OPEN NOW!

The 13th Annual International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival returns April 6 - 13, 2017 .

Our filmmakers love showing their films at the IHSFF! A part of the Phoenix Film Festival, IHSFF filmmakers get all the benefits of our sold-out audiences, interested and engaged crowds and fun networking opportunities! Submit and see why we have filmmakers coming back year after year!

 
 
 

FILM SUBMISSIONS

The IHSFF focuses on independent competition horror and sci-fi films. We also showcase horror and sci-fi genre independent studio films with celebrity guests in attendance. 

We take film submissions in the following categories:

  • Horror Feature (TRT over 60 minutes)
  • Horror Short  (TRT under 30 minutes)
  • Sci-fi Feature (TRT over 60 minutes)
  • Sci-fi Short  (TRT under 30 minutes)
 

HOW TO SUBMIT

There are two convenient ways to submit to the 2016 IHSFF. You can submit through
Withoutabox or through FilmFreeway!

We are taking submissions through
December 19, 2016. 

Notifications of selected films will begin in
February 2017.

SCREENPLAY SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN !

The International Horror and Sci-fi Film Festival is looking for the best unproduced short film scripts out there.

Screenplays must be yours, original, within the horror or sci-fi genre and under 25 pages. So let's see what you've got!

First Place:

  • $250 cash from the Phoenix Film Foundation
  • One InkTip.com Script Listing on InkTip.comInkTip Script Listings provide writers with the opportunity to get their scripts read by InkTip’s extensive network of producers, reps, manager, agents, and other qualified industry professionals.
  • Script review and consultation from the Director of Development at Script Pipeline

  • One free entry to any Script Pipeline writing or idea competition
